Al Mercato - burger bar

The show is at 21:15, perfect timing to get away from the office, take a breath of fresh air and have a bite with my faithful friends of the theater Franco Parenti. The appointment for a quick dinner is at Al Mercato that, unlike the evocative name of vegetables and products of our mother earth, is actually a wonderful "stall" full of great burgers in Yankees sauce. And on the web are rumors that this is one of the best hamburgers in Milan ... a visit of courtesy was a must!
The venue is very intimate, simple and nice, the service is friendly and fast. Only 4 tables and a long bench where to eat with a nice view of the kitchen.
Lights, smells, music and even the typical squeeze bottle of ketchup and mustard recreate the feel of small-burger bar in New York ... awesome!
I ordered the basic burger (cost 10€), with the addition of cheddar (1€ more ) and foie gras (7 € more): an odd mix, but really good enough to convince me to count it among my favorite burger in Milan (with Es PujolsMama Burger and Margy Burger).
I would only improve the food paper (not resistant) on which the hamburger is served and the fries, which were a little too dry for my taste.
Small note about the services that are in the restaurant area of Al Mercato and you must exit the burger bar and wear the coat. But it's worth the quick walk to browse in the small dining room which is furnished with good taste!
