I'm in the | | mode
I take a break from the festivities of Christmas, from toast to the new year that is about to begin, and (unfortunately) from sweets. I put two dashes break on the agenda of the office, on the list of good resolutions for the coming months of 2012 and the list of bad intentions for the sales that are going to start in few weeks. I clicked the button | | on the iPod, on the DVD player and on my Mac, and I pressed play on Pause, a brand new venue in Milan that, as soon as you'll step in, will surprise and make you dream!
The merit goes to Katia and Paola, friends for 20 years, joined by a great love for travel, New York, Asia, and vintage fashion. They were united by their strong desire to change their lives, to click a stop on their office PC, to open their drawer full of passions and dreams and they achieve all of them by opening and giving life to this beautiful venue. Pause is full of energy and style: it is open from 8 am to 8 pm. In addition to serving delicious american breakfast, light lunch, afternoon snacks and drinks, Pause also has a corner of vintage clothes, really nice. The restaurant is small but cozy, the decor is a collage made with various objects, chairs, picture frames, vintage tables that were bought by Paola and Katia during their many travels or at flea markets. The result is a really cosy and charming venue with a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere: perfect to relax and take a break, to disconnect the wires, switch off the laptop and to remember, every how, to open the drawer also of our dreams!
