Zona Tartina

There are always some good reasons to spend an afternoon in Zona Tortona and Navigli: a photographic exhibition at Spazio Forma (very nice the exhibition of Women of Life - until 11 March) and have a snack at Zona Tartina. This venue has been open for almost a year in the Tortona area and has turned name and logo into a parody!

But the surprises are not limited only to the name, but also inside Zona Tartina shows beautiful, colorful and interesting activities, with the design creations of Studio Nimè and initiatives of the CREU, a cultural organization that aims to "raise children to remain children and adult to return to be children."
Also you can eat good food and do some shopping.
The gastronomic explorations with toast offers some real moments of pleasure based on double sandwich of bread, buttered, toasted and stuffed with various ingredients (vegetarian or not), all handmade. My afternoon snack was extremely good with salmon accompanied by an elegant red rose and a cup of tea. For lunch you can order a sandwich box consisting of a sandwich, an appetizer, soup, salad. Between a bite to the sandwich and a sip of cider (the house specialty) you can buy the furniture of Zona Tartina as the wooden chairs, colored lamps, furniture, costumes and vintage furniture.
The only drawback is that Zona Tartina remains closed during the weekend, and is open on weekdays from 10 to 20: a little uncomfortable for those who work or live outside the Zona Tortona!
But the Fuori Salone is coming soon and Zona Tartina will honor this appointment with the opening night: it is essential to prepare for the event, meet at Zona Tartina will be the must!
